Digital Signatures replace "Scan & Sign" stamping method

November 11, 2020

Effective November 16, the NWTAA now utilizes and issues Digital Signatures as the method of stamping electronic documents, replacing the previously approved “stamp, sign & scan” method.  NWTAA joins OAA, AIBC, AAA, MAA, SAA, OAQ and AANB, as well as NAPEG, in partnering with Notarius to provide professional Digital Signatures for its members.  The move follows recognized national evolutions in the practice of architecture, industry standards and the security of digital documents.
