Records Management for Architects and Firms

Council has issued Practice Bulletin #06, Archival and Destruction of Records, in response to members' concerns regarding an Architect's responsibilities for records management for projects in the Northwest Territories.  Architects are advised to retain records for at least ten years; however, Council also advises Architects to speak to their individual insurers and legal advisors before disposing of records.
